Uno Global is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with
R&D centered in Israel http://www.unoglobal.com.
The company was founded in Spring 1999 in an effort to
fill a void in the availability of rigorously secured, full service, and
technologically advanced Internet gaming systems, engineered specifically for
the use of state and national lotteries.
UnoLotto is the first in a series of products that
will be offered by Uno Global. In September 1999, the company plans to issue
its second release Uno Interactive, a promotional gaming system, designed for
the product promotions market.
Uno Interactive provides a cost effective, strategic
forum for companies to promote existing or new products on their own web sites.
UNO GLOBAL
ANNOUNCES THE INTEGRATION OF WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY INTO ITS FLAGSHIP PRODUCTS,
UnoLotto & UnoPromo. Jerusalem, Israel, (May 20th) Uno
Global Inc., a member of the Tri-United Technologies Group, and specialist in
Internet gaming systems for the international Internet and wireless lottery
markets, today announced its intention to lead these markets during the coming
year.
In order to achieve these goals, Uno Global has, amongst other
things, formed a strategic alliance with Cellution Inc., a subsidiary of
Computer Direct Ltd, and specialist in providing Internet solutions using
wireless technology.
A Memorandum has been signed, under the terms of
the Agreement, providing for an exchange of shares between the two companies,
as well as the integration of Cellution's technology into Uno Global's flagship
products, UnoLotto and UnoPromo.
This winning combination will allow
every mobile phone user to play Uno Global's Internet lottery games, as well as
participate in prize draws, various competitions and promotions offered on Uno
Global's website.
Combining Internet and wireless technology provides
Uno Global's products with a "special unique quality that gives us a
significant edge over similar products being developed by other companies",
said Amnon Goldrat, Vice-President and Acting CEO of Uno Global.
Using
mobile phones as a means of communicating with customers will allow National
Lotteries and various communication companies to market their products in a
more dynamic and direct manner to a wider audience than they would usually
reach.
"Take your average salesman, for example," said Amnon Goldrat,
"who spends most of the day on the road. He may not always get the chance to
buy an Internet lottery ticket. Now with several clicks of his mobile phone, he
is able to fill out lottery tickets and participate in draws at any time during
his journey."
Uno Global, whose R&D headquarters are in the
Jerusalem Technology Park, is currently revamping both its corporate and demo
websites, http://www.unoglobal.com which will be relaunched on May 25th. The
new improved sites have been designed in conjunction with Art-In Ltd., one of
Israel's largest and most advanced Internet companies, providing technological
design solutions.
Uno Global will be exhibiting its new products,
integrating Internet and wireless solutions, at the WLA Congress 2000 in
Glasgow, Scotland, between 4th-8th June.

Uno Global Announces the
Launch of Unolotto™ the Most Technologicaly Advanced Internet
Lottery Gaming System The UnoLotto System Offers Security Equipped, Highly
Flexible System Specifically Engineered for State Lotteries
Worldwide
Toronto, Canada (July 21, 1999) -- Uno Global Inc.
http://www.unoglobal.com, a new player
in the Internet lottery market, announced today its plans to officially launch
UnoLotto™ http://www.unolotto.com
at the Intertoto Conference in Oslo, Norway, on August 29, 1999. UnoLotto is
the most technologically advanced Internet gaming solution, engineered to allow
for speedy, flexible and cost efficient individual lottery customization.
Developed by Internet experts, Uno Lotto combines the interactive power of the
Web, with the fun of state/national lottery games to create a new and exciting
gaming experience. It is estimated that within the next five years, Internet
lotteries will generate approximately $10.4 billion annually.
"The Internet has turned every home computer into a
potential lottery terminal," says Sissy Mevorach-Levy, Uno Global's CEO. "By
expanding their operations to the Internet, lottery operators can now expand
their reach and target millions more. The UnoLotto package is designed to
leverage this enormous potential. Uno Global will work directly with
government-sanctioned lotteries, their licensees and authorized charities"
The UnoLotto system is composed of six modules: Game
Management, Accounting and Reporting, Security, Credit Card Processing,
Marketing Tools and E-Commerce. It affords lotteries the flexibility to select
from a host of different choice system features such as graphics, sound, price
structures, odds, pay outs, spending caps, types of games and many more.
Existing game parameters can also be modified quickly
and easily according to specification. The system is user friendly and requires
neither the downloading of software nor the use of a CD to play the games.
Operators and users only need to log on to the Internet to play. UnoLotto also
comes equipped with a built in inventory and cash management system, the latter
provided in cooperation with Internet Certified Administration and Business
Services (ICABS).
The Uno Global system was designed in coordination
with Technical Systems Testing (TST), one of the world's leading games
evaluation laboratories and highly regarded by the gaming and lottery
authorities in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The involvement of TST
assures that Uno Global products uphold the stringent standards of fairness and
reliability required by the lottery and gaming industry.
Reliable safeguards and controls have been integrated
into the system to prohibit unauthorized play by minors and out of state
parties. In addition, Uno Global products are supported by "Unobots," a set of
round the clock, automatic protocols, which ensure the system's security and
reliability. Unobots perform four functions:
- monitor user traffic, to ensure that the system
never becomes overloaded;
- verify that the odds of the game remain both true
to the games operator's specifications, and fair for the end-user;
- monitor the system for malfunctions that may affect
the integrity of the game, and have the power halt all new ticket sales without
disturbing the activity of current players; and
- serve as the ultimate watchdog: in the unlikely
event that an unauthorized hacker breaches Uno Global's dual-firewall security
system, it immediately shuts the game down.
