Editec Launches Keno Game in
Suriname
FRANCE (February 11, 2004) -- On January 30,
Editec, in Joint Venture with SNAK, one of the two lottery operators in
Suriname (South America), launched the Keno 4, a daily game basically combining
a Pick 4 with a roll-over Jackpot based on 2 additional numbers. The launch was
done with an installed network of about 100 TPM 3000 terminals, with 50 more to
be deployed in the course of February.
The launch has been very successful
with over 300,000 entries in the first 6 draws. Suriname is in South America
and has a population of 450,000 people. The system is fully operated by Editec.
