Dr. Winfried Wortmann, Managing Director, WESTDEUTSCHE, LOTTERIE GmbH & Co OHG Germany (appointed on November 1, 1994).

Biography:
Dr. Winfried Wortmann was born in 1946 in Solingen. He is married and has three adult sons. Dr. Wortmann studied sociology and macro economics. He was graduated as “doctor rerum politicarum” (Dr. rer. pol.) in 1975. From 1976 to 1994 Dr. Wortmann held several positions in the Westdeutsche Landesbank (WestLB), i.a. General Agent of the Deutsche Industrie- und Handelsbank (DIHB) and General Manager of the Investitionsbank NRW.
