Dr. Aleš HUŠÁK is Chairman of the

SAZKA a.s., Czech Republic
Biography:
JUDr. Aleš
Hušák graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Charles' University,
Prague. Among other positions, Hušák has worked in the Foreign and
Economic Administration of the National Bank of Czechoslovakia, served as the
Sales Director of the Výstaviště Praha exhibition centre and
as the Economic Vice Chairman of the Czech Sports Association (ČSTV).
In 1995, Mr Hušák was elected Chairman of the Board of
Directors and appointed Chief Executive Officer of SAZKA, a.s., the biggest
lottery company in the Czech Republic.
Since 1996, he has also been active
in international lottery organisations and, at the 4th congress of European
Lotteries, held in May 2007 in Budapest, he was re-elected Member of the
Executive Committee of this association.
Aleš Hušák is
married with two children. His most favourite hobbies include literature, film,
wine and gastronomy, swimming, snowboarding and skiing.
