Kathryn Densborn was appointed Executive Director of
the Hoosier Lottery on December 7, 2006
by Governor Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr.
Biography: Densborn received her
Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising from the Indiana University
Kelley School of Business in Bloomington in 1974. Upon graduation, she worked
for Indiana National Bank (now JP Morgan Chase) in sales and marketing which
led to a career in residential real estate sales with Savage Landrigan, Inc.
Her professional and community involvements have spanned real estate,
legislative advocacy before the Indiana General Assembly, communications,
development, education, and government service. An avid volunteer in her
church and in her community, Densborn has served as President of the St. Luke
Catholic School Commission and was a member of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis
North Deanery Board of Education. She is also a past-President of the
Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association, has served on the boards of various
civic organizations, was the newsletter editor/designer for the Sudden Infant
Death Syndrome Center of Indiana, and is a member of the Development Committee
for St. Elizabeth/Coleman Pregnancy & Adoption Services. As executive
director, Densborn is committed to increasing Hoosier Lottery Revenues while
maintaining the integrity of the Lotterys games.
