Edward (Ted) R. Clayton, Executive Vice President/Consultant of Optial Corporation

Biography:
After commencing a career in Chartered Accounting in Australia, Edward (Ted) R. Clayton has held positions of CEO and President covering a number of businesses relating to lottery operations and techniques. These included lottery retailing, instant win promotional marketing, lottery consulting globally and computer software development.
Ted is an Australian citizen, working in USA for many years out of Atlanta Georgia. He has been a member of the World Lottery Association since the early 1980's and has consulted in a number of international lottery jurisdictions in the areas of startup and ongoing marketing. He is an Associate of the Australian Institute of Marketing.
During the eighties he was the founding CEO of Instant Marketing Australia and was the innovator of Instant Win Newspaper Bingo in Australia which he eventually introduced to UK and a number of other countries.
The 1990's saw him as Chairman of Wallace International the continuity promotion specialists.
From 1993 to 1998 he was the senior director of Commercial Games at Scientific Games Atlanta Georgia, the international lottery products and systems provider. He was responsible for the introduction and manufacture of the Scratch Off telephone card. During this period he was the innovator of many promotional and charitable instant win games in USA, Mexico and Europe.
He has consulted and advised in many countries on lottery and gaming marketing. From 2002 to 2004 he was consultant to the Indonesian government, investigating the feasibility of a national lottery. During that time he also implemented a complete reconstruction of the Priority Mail Services and devised the opening promotion for the Indonesian Post Office.
Currently he is Executive Vice President/Consultant of Optial Corporation, a UK Risk Management and Corporate Governance software organization. He is also working with patent applications for innovative lottery and commercial gaming instant win techniques. He is planning to return and continue business out of Sydney, Australia in early 2007 consulting to Promotional Results Pty Ltd and other organizations.
