Biography: Jeffrey R. Anderson was
appointed Director of the Idaho Lottery by Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter on
January 9, 2007. He was appointed by Governor Otter to additional duties as
Director of the Idaho State Liquor Division (ISLD) on April 30, 2010. Mr.
Anderson came to state service after twenty-six years in broadcasting, most
recently as Vice President and General Manager of CBS television affiliates
KBOI (Boise) and KIDK (Idaho Falls) from 1996 to 2006.
Since 2007, Mr.
Anderson has served on the Board of Directors of the North American Association
of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) and the Multi-State Lottery
Association (MUSL). He is a Past-President of NASPL and is the current
President of MUSL.
During his tenure as Director of the ISLD, Mr. Anderson
has served on the Board of Directors of the National Alcohol Beverage Control
Association (NABCA) and is the current Past-Chairman of the

Association, representing the industry's interests to Congress and the Idaho

Administration degree from California State University, Chico in 1980. He
resides in Boise, Idaho with his wife of 34 years, Theresa Anderson.
