Biography: Hoosier Lottery Executive
Director Sarah Taylor
Sarah Taylor is a veteran public servant. She served
eight years as Marion County Clerk in the late 1980's and early 1990's. She
served as Director of Constituent Services for Mayor Greg Ballard for nearly
six years. Now Governor Mike Pence has given her a new responsibility
Executive Director of the State Lottery Commission of Indiana, the state entity
that oversees the operations of the Hoosier Lottery.
Governor Names New Executive Director of Hoosier
Lottery INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (September 7, 2013) --
Governor Mike Pence today named Sarah Taylor as the Executive Director of
Hoosier Lottery. Sarah Taylor will serve as Executive Director of the
Hoosier Lottery beginning October 1, 2013. Taylor is the current Director of
Constituent Services for the 48th Mayor of Indianapolis, Gregory A. Ballard.
Twice elected as the Marion County Clerk, where she served for eight years, she
acted as the chief financial officer for court receipts including child support
monies and as chief election official for Indianapolis/Marion County. An
Indiana native, Taylor, of Indianapolis, earned her undergraduate degree from
