The North American Association of State
and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) was founded in 1971. Evolving from an informal
exchange of information among three pioneering lottery directors, the
organization has now grown into an active association of state and provincial
lotteries representing 47 lottery organizations throughout North America.

Insights Has Gone Digital! GENEVA, Ohio (August 2009)
-- As you have already discovered, it is a renewed beginning for our
publication, Lottery Insights. During our recent Spring Directors Meeting
held in Nashville, Tennessee, the NASPL membership decided to move forward with
the associations green initiative. This electronic version will now
be sent, free of charge, to a global distribution list. I fully expect that

Governor Congratulates
John Musgrave for His Election as President of
NASPL CHARLESTON, West Virginia (October 1, 2008)
Governor Joe Manchin, via teleconference, congratulated
West Virginia Lottery Director
John Musgrave for his election as
president of the North American Association of State and Provincial
Lotteries. The association represents 51 state and provincial lotteries in
the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Musgrave was elected Friday at
the association's annual conference in Philadelphia. "We appreciate the
job you're doing, and the whole Lottery Commission is doing," Manchin said.
"It goes without saying we are very blessed to have you all."
