The former European Association of State Lotteries and Lottos was founded on November 29, 1983 in Montreux, Switzerland.
EL is made up of 81 State Lottery Members (76 Regular, 3 Affiliate, & 2 Observers) as well of 30 Associate Members (Lottery Suppliers).
