Ernie O'Keefe, Managing Editor of Lottery
Insider. Biography:
Ernie O'Keefe is the principal
of Ernie O'Keefe and
Associates, General Manager of Interplay Multimedia Pty Ltd and
Managing Editor of Lottery Insider.
He has over 25 years experience in the lottery industry. He has held a
number of senior positions in the Lottery Industry in Australia, including:
Mr O'Keefe joined NSW Lotteries in 1986 after
serving a number of years with the NSW State Government. He has an extensive
knowledge of the lottery industry, with expertise gained in a number of senior
positions in NSW Lotteries from early 1986 to 1996, where he was Lotteries
Manager, Product Manager, New Business Development Manager and Group Product
Manager. He was appointed to the inaugural Board of N.S.W. Lotteries in 1991
and served on the Board until 1994.
He is credited with establishing N.S.W.
Lotteries' modern centralised distribution centre, and restructuring N.S.W.
Lotteries' traditional passive Jackpot Lottery games with new game designs in
1995 and the development of Lucky 7 in 1996. Mr O'Keefe left NSW
Lotteries in 1996 to launch Ernie O'Keefe and Associates and shortly after
became the General Manager of Interplay Multimedia Pty Ltd. In 2000, Access
Gaming Systems Limited, a leading supplier of internet gambling systems to
government regulated gaming operators throughout the world, invited Mr. O'keefe
to join its Board of Directors. In March 2000 Access Gaming Systems
announced its intention to raise $45 million with an initial public offering
(IPO) of shares, it also announced that it had appointed Mr O’Keefe as
Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors to lead the IPO. Mr
O’Keefe resigned all directorships in 2002 to concentrate totally on the
industry resource Lottery Insider, which he had launched in 1996. He is
currently the Managing Editor of Lottery Insider.

Systems
SYDNEY, Australia (March 22, 2000) – Access
Gaming Systems Limited, a supplier of a Internet gaming systems to regulated
casinos and lotteries in Australia and Europe, has appointed Mr Ernie
O’Keefe as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.
Mr
O’Keefe is a consultant to lotteries globally and General Manager of
Interplay Multimedia, but is also widely known in the industry throughout the
world as editor of the international Internet lottery magazine, Lottery
Insider.
He has an extensive knowledge of the industry, with expertise
gained in a number of senior positions in NSW
Lotteries from early 1988 to 1996, where he was Lotteries Manager, Product
Manager, New Business Development Manager and Group Product Manager. Mr
O’Keefe served on the Board of NSW Lotteries and has a network of contacts
in the lotteries industry internationally.
He has in-depth knowledge of the
diversification of product ranges and the development of new technologies in
the lottery and Internet gaming industries.
