Biography: Margaret M.
Gordon became Director of the Colorado
Lottery on January 1, 2004. Prior to her appointment, she was victim
compensation administrator with the states Office for Victims Programs,
serving in this position since 1997. She began her career in 1975, working
with victim compensation issues with the 18th Judicial District. She holds a
master's degree in public administration from the University of Colorado at
Denver and a bachelor's in social work from Western Michigan University in
Kalamazoo.
